Sacred Valley of the Incas

The Sacred Valley of the Incas, in the Peruvian Andes, is composed of numerous rivers that descend by ravines and small valleys; Has numerous archeological monuments and indigenous peoples.

This valley was much appreciated by the Incas because of their special geographic and climatic qualities. It was one of the main points of production for the richness of its lands and place where the best corn grain is produced in Peru.

Activities:

  • Pisac.- In this town the visit is made to two attractions, the first one in the main square in which; Artisans of the zone offer their products and the second one to 20 minutes in which the work of Inca agriculture is appreciated.
  • Ollantaytambo.- One of the greatest examples of Inca architecture, it has been built on two mountains in a strategic place that dominates the whole valley. It constituted a military, religious, administrative and agricultural complex.
  • Chinchero.-  you can apreciated andeneria and inca architecture, you can also visit different craft centers where they perform demonstrations of the weaving and dyeing of looms
